Some simple tips to increase performance of existing broadband solutions.
Concrete as a dense material is an effective mechanism that helps to block or slow WiFi signals, thus the placement of a broadband and WiFi router is quite important in houses similar to the houses in our estate. e.g house made with a lot of concrete.
The optimal location for a broadband router and WiFi performance for most of the houses in our estate would be to place the router in the center of the house. e.g 2nd floor landing.
Another way to enhance WiFi performance is to stop using the WiFi cabability of the supplier based broadband device and utilise another device that provides the Wifi signal only and in certain circumstances a WiFi extender.
