Wildlife
As an established estate there is a significant amount of green areas, wildlife and pests (considered as vermin) within our area
Some examples of wildlife (good and bad)
Foxes (estimated 150 to 200k in Ireland)
https://biodiversityireland.ie/surveys/urban-fox-survey/
Red squirrells.
Hedgehogs.
Small birds.
Insects, bees and butterflies.
Mice
Rats
Some of the wildlife outlined above is deemed to be beneficial to our area and some of the above maybe not so much ?
Pest control (HSE and DLRCC)

It may be beneficial to the overall area to generate some information through the residents and a residents association related to the wildlife in our estate and how to increase the positives for the area related to wildlife and how to manage the negatives if any related to wildlife / vermin in our area.
Dog fouling
Most dog owners in our area seem to be responsible and pick up after their dogs e.g bag it, however there is a trend occuring that people do not then "bin it", in some cases they just "leave it" for somebody else to deal with
This type of action by dog owners in our area is a sad reflection of those dog ownes and the respect they have for our area and they people in our area

Summary
The RA will engage with the council regarding the instillation of some public bins in the area
Dog owners please do the right thing and respect our area and the people in the area as there is no excuse for some actions e.g bag it, bin it! dont drop it and expect someone else to deal with it!
