Laneways & Lighting

Laneways Background 

There are a number of laneways within our area, some of the laneways are still in place and some have been closed over time e.g on South Park were an ESB substation has been placed at the bottom of the original laneway 

Current laneways 

• Beech park road to beech park drive (behind the tennis courts)

• Beech park road to beech park drive (the lane from the green)

• Beech park road to bray road (Lane to the dual carrigeway)

• Library car park to Clonkeen road (side of Lidl)

Question 

• Should there be some or extra lighting in place in these laneways and should some of the vegitation be cut back in the laneway leading to Bray road 

Note: in my opinion some of these laneways can be a little bit intimidating at night time due to the lack of lighting, especially the laneway in picture two ?
